Be proud of the change you are building
If you’re pushing for change: show it, say it, and stand out. A strong pitch is only half the story, the rest is about how clearly and convincingly you present it. I’ll make sure your factsheets, visuals, and messaging amplifies your impact and makes your story impossible to ignore.
When the UN Secretary-General is your audience
Local governments shape our daily lives, and young people should have a voice in how their towns and villages are governed. This was exactly what the June 2024 “Shaping Our Future Conference” in Utrecht was all about, and it produced a declaration meant for the upcoming UN Summit of the Future.
I was brought in as the graphic designer to give the declaration its visual form. The challenge was clear: make it feel youthful and accessible without losing the gravitas needed for a UN audience. We landed on a bold, clean design that highlighted the nine practical recommendations while still providing serious reading
The declaration was formally handed over by the Mayor of Utrecht to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, and its core messages clearly resonated beyond that moment. Several of its recommendation are echoed in the final Pact for the Future. I didn’t shape the recommendations, but I believe the thoughtful design helped those ideas travel further and land more firmly.
